The last few days have been spent cutting and notching all the tubular steel we are using for the main frame of the robot. There is a lot of tubing sections to prepare ready for welding. Most of our first day was spent clearing space in the workshop for the new band saw and tube notcher and getting them setup and working correctly. Now they are working correctly we are getting through all the sections we need to make up quickly, we are at least 60% of the way through now.
Once welded together this frame will form the core of the physical structure of the robot, with most components being mounted to the frame it some way shape for form.
